During this week you will study the 18th century in which the Bourbon dynasty reigned in Spain. We also will talk about the Enlightenment which is a philosophical movement that challenged the concept of absolute monarchies. In Spain, the Enlightenment coincided with the Bourbons reign.

What is Past Tense?

The past tense tell us what has already happened. Look at the two sentences below; one is in the past tense and one in the present. 

• I am walking down my road.          →       I walked down my road.
